I began my acting career studying under Jo and Linnea Foresberg at the Players Workshop of Second City in Chicago. Over many years, I studied and played at iO, The Annoyance, and Second City. In 2008, I formed a sketch group - Butch LaRue - with whom I wrote and performed in several revues, including multiple years at the Milwaukee Comedy Festival and the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival (Sketchfest).
